Hello, again, hello
I've had this blog for a while and haven't really used it. But I decided I'm probably as entertaining as at least half the bloggers out there, so let's do this thing.
Although the title indicates that I knit, I've recently been venturing into the world of crochet, because doesn't every girl dream of being a hooker? However, after spending half my lunch doing a project wrong, I spend the other half frogging what I've spent the last week creating. I couldn't understand the pattern and lost the motivation to figure it out. So now I'm in search of something else to make with this yarn. I'll let you know.
Never go out of town without your spouse, because when you come home you'll find out he has committed to you attending a fancy party. The hubby and I are going to a 'gala' Saturday. That should be interesting. I'm not sure I know how to act. I'm going to try and not eat with my fingers and use the right fork, but I won't make any guarantees about keeping my shoes on. If I get to my table without breaking an ankle, the evening will have been a success. He is renting a tux and I have these horrific ideas in my head that it will smell like a wet animal or be covered with bloodstains or something.
In library news, I'm trying to figure out LibCal for our meeting rooms. Librarians tend to be pretty tech savvy, but I somehow ended up working with two of the biggest tech-phobic librarians around. So it would seem that since I own an iPad, I know how to do all things computer-y. We are so behind, though, that our current meeting room application doesn't even ask for email, but LibCal requires it. That is making the input of existing reservations a little challenging.
Don't forget to fall back and change the clocks Sunday. Don't ask me which way to change them because I never get it right. Check your cellphone, it will tell you.
